Moisture meter and hygrometer
We use a moisture meter to find saturation in subfloor, drywall, and framing, and a hygrometer to track ambient humidity during drying. These readings decide when equipment comes out.
Thermal imaging camera
A thermal imaging camera shows temperature differences behind walls and under floors, revealing water paths that are invisible to the eye. It is how we catch an overflow that reached a ceiling cavity.
Truck-mounted water extraction unit
Our extraction unit pulls standing water and contaminated water from carpet, pad, and subfloor seams far faster than a portable wet/dry vacuum. It is the first piece of equipment running on every job.
Dri-Eaz and Phoenix Restoration air movers
We position Dri-Eaz and Phoenix Restoration air movers to create a drying vortex across wet surfaces, then pair them with dehumidifiers to pull the moisture out of the air.
DeWalt and Milwaukee inspection tools
We use DeWalt and Milwaukee inspection cameras and lights to look inside wall cavities and crawl spaces after extraction, confirming that no wet pocket was missed before we close up.
Hydrostatic pressure test kit
When a backup points to a line failure rather than a simple clog, a hydrostatic pressure test kit helps our plumbing partner locate the break or root intrusion before it causes a second overflow.
Shop-Vac and Bissell spot units
For small, contained clean-water overflows, a Shop-Vac or Bissell spot unit can handle the surface water while we set up drying equipment. We still verify with a moisture meter before calling it done.
